It's always fun to read the nonsense you write. Here are two of my favorites.
what i keep in my pocket...
I keep a lot of things in my pocket--gum wrappers, pens, nickles, hair ties, jolly ranchers..but there's one thing that never leaves my side...it resides in my pocket regardless if they are sewn or deep pocketed.......some people are afraid of it like an ugly frog with warts...others embrace it...
there's an abundance of it..there's never scarcity.....
it starts with an "S" and ends with eternity....
if you throw a splash of milk on it, it still tastes as good as ever and never gets soggy...
I call it my show-n-tell item for class today ---Silence---
It can be awkward..
It can be freeing..
but it is always necessary...
I value silence and rarely does it bother me because it is the one moment in time where I can truly call mine. It is a time when I can confront what the world has to offer...It's a time where creativity is cultivated...It's the space between the time the ball leaves my fingertips, reaches the arc, and hits the net...and the result is always successful....hit or miss....
I never have to be ready for it, because it is always ready for me...

stone, rock, pebble... Current mood: good So I have a theory....
actually a tidbit to share...
It is absolutely the most important lesson I've come to realize. It's called simplifying an over-analyzed situation. How, you may ask? ..By letting go and letting things just "be". What the hell do I mean?...I mean, sometimes a rock is just a rock..it's not a rock with mold on it because it's been sitting on the bottom of the fishbowl for too long, or because someone painted it green, or perhaps the mold is really some form of algae that manifested itself into something more than mold...no..it's just a rock.
Sometimes I feel like people paint a picture for situations in their lives that are above and beyond the actual meaning of the situation itself...Suddenly, they (me included) are Sherlock Holmes dissecting the "when's","where's","whys","if's", "ands" and "buts" of why a cake they baked came out lopsided or something. Ok, granted, some situations have scientific or logical explanation attached to it, but not in every case. We are, afterall humans, neurologically wired to think and analyze in attempts to rationalize the unknown. It is such an amazing and freeing feeling to think beyond the logical sometimes and let things be as they are...a rock as a rock sitting in a pond, or a pencil as just a pencil ready to be sharpened, a person doing you wrong as just doing you wrong, a person making you happy as someone bringing joy to your life......and move forward from it.
It's a very difficult mindset to have because our eyes, ears, touch and mouth guide our every move, every judgement which in turn creates our final feeling of something. But what I'm saying is, this is something your extensions cannot direct or answer. It's just a feeling you decide to have and move forward from it...sometimes what your heart just knows about.
That's all...so this computer screen you're looking at right now..is just a screenshot into my head at this moment.=)
